mushrooms Cool mushrooms are everywhere in the woods. These tiny things look so magical.
The parcel we have chosen as our build site is overgrown with what was once landscaping from the early 20th century. Asian wisteria is literally choking and pulling down trees one by one. overgrown wisteria

The wisteria has already killed and taken down so many trees that the sunshine has changed the woods so much that it is barely woods on this part of Cobbs Hall. sunshine through the trees

More sunshine every year has changed the walk and heated up that part of Cobbs Hall. Once we remove the dead trees, we will plant native trees and hopefully bring back the woods. more sunshine
    Jewelweed
Northern Neck Native jewelweed plants have increased with the sunshine.
